Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Using Expenssly

Expenssly is a personal finance tracking application. By creating an account you agree to these terms. You need to be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and you are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

Your data belongs to you

You keep ownership of everything you put into Expenssly. We store and process it only to operate the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell it. You may delete individual entries at any time, or request deletion of your entire account.

Not financial advice

Expenssly reports on money you have already spent and earned. Budget suggestions, savings suggestions, digests and any other AI-generated output are informational only and are not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Decisions you make with them are your own.

Accuracy and automation

Receipt scanning, automatic categorization and currency conversion are automated and can be wrong. Scanned receipts are always presented for your review before they are saved, and exchange rates are cached indicative rates rather than the rate your bank charged. Check anything that matters, and do not rely on Expenssly as a system of record for tax or accounting purposes without verifying it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Expenssly to break the law, to upload content you have no right to upload, to attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or to interfere with the operation of the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and features currently offered on a free or invite-only basis may change in future. If we make a material change to these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
